I Hate Valentine's Day

I don't mince words when it comes to Valentine's Day: I hate it. I hate the flowers, I hate the chocolates, I hate the reminders of all of the other Valentine's Days I've spent sad and alone, and I hate the fact that every bloody year I decide to go out for dinner alone to try to salvage the day and wind up feeling worse.

The one bright spot is the Charlie Brown Valentine's specials they rerun every year, and the fact that they make me feel a little less lonely.
